Suriya’s Aakashame Nee Haddura in the Oscars race now

Tamil star hero Suriya enjoys a decent fan following in the Telugu states too. He had a bad phase in recent times where all his films failed to grab the attention. However, he bounced back strongly with the movie Aakashame Nee Haddura. The film was directed by Sudha Kongara and was based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath.

The film got directly released on Amazon Prime and it was a smashing hit. Now, as per the latest update, this film has joined the Oscars race. The film co-producer Rajsekhar Pandian has revealed this news. He tweeted, ” #SooraraiPottru joins OSCARS under General Category in Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Original Score & other categories! The film has been made available in the Academy Screening Room today.”

Aparna Balamurali has played the female lead and GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
