Suriya has earned a lot of following in Telugu and Tamil, alike. His films release is celebrated as an important event by his fans and he looks to maintain on that promise by doing the best possible films he could for his fans. As part of it, he launched 2D Entertainment his production house, to support the scripts he likes and also produce those films that he thinks are need of the hour.
He produced a movie with his wife, Jyothika as lead earlier and then he produced his 24, directed by Vikram Kumar on the banner. Now, he is looking to produce a movie with his brother, Karthi. Karthi, made leaps of progress as a hero in Tamil and Telugu. He may not have same following as his brother but he has fans in Telugu with films like Awara, Oopiri and Na Peru Shiva. Now, Karthi is busy with his next film Karuppu Raja Vella Raja and after that movie he will start working on this movie in the direction of Pandiraj.
2D Entertainment of Suriya is now producing Suriya’s next Thana Senda Koottum and Jyothika’s Magalir Mattum. So the movie will start by the end of this year or early next year. Karthi is excited about the story and the director, Pandiraj who has a great rapport with Suriya asked him to shine in a cameo in the movie to showcase both the brothers and Suriya is yet undecided on that. As off now, the script is being developed further by Pandiraj. The director made Pasanga/ Memu earlier and also Idhu Namma Aalu with Simbhu and Nayantara.
