Suriya Sets Expectations Right

Suriya’s upcoming action film Karuppu, releasing in Telugu as Veera Bhadrudu is set to hit theatres this Thursday.

At a promotional event in Hyderabad, Suriya and director RJ Balaji said the film is mainly for pure mass audiences for sure.

They clearly clarified that it is not aimed at critics or viewers expecting deep, realistic storytelling. Instead the film focuses on action, entertainment and strong hero elevation moments.

Their comments show that Suriya wants to set clear expectations before release. After facing a few disappointments, he is now focusing on reconnecting with mass audiences.

By calling it a commercial entertainer, he aims to avoid confusion. His next film, Vishwanath and Sons, is expected to be a more grounded drama.
