Suriya’s latest film Karuppu was planned for a grand release today with early morning shows but it faced a sudden delay due to financial issues.
The situation created confusion among fans and theaters. Suriya personally stepped in to resolve the matter and held discussions with the financiers.
After his assurance the problems are now being sorted out and the film is expected to release with afternoon shows across many locations.
Karuppu is a mass entertainer directed by RJ Balaji and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film stars Suriya, Trisha, RJ Balaji, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu.
Suriya will be seen in two different looks, and the music is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
