Suriya faced a tough time after delivering a series of box office flops. His comeback film, Karuppu directed by RJ Balaji also ran into financial problems before its release causing huge delays and the cancellation of a few shows.
In a recent interview, Suriya revealed that he had to take huge loans at the last minute to save the film.
He thanked his lovely wife Jyothika for standing by him and supporting his every decision during the much difficult phase.
Thankfully the film Karuppu turned out to be a big box office success.
To celebrate, Suriya gifted luxury cars to music director Sai Abhyankar and the editor. He is now busy promoting Vishwanath & Sons directed by Venky Atluri which releases on August 14th 2026 without fail.
