Suriya 42 Gets Sold To An OTT Platform In A Whopping Amount

According to reports, Suriya and Disha Patani’s upcoming film receives an OTT network. A record-breaking sum is paid for the digital rights.

He has played a variety of roles in movies like Ghajini, Jai Bhim, Soorarai Pottru, and others. He is one of the highest-paid actors in that country. He is presently collaborating with Disha Patani on his untitled movie “Suriya 42.”

Now, there are numerous rumours that the digital rights to Suriya’s upcoming movie have been sold to an OTT platform, and that too for a staggeringly high sum.

Bollywood diva Disha Patani co-stars in Suriya’s next major film, “Suriya 42,” directed by Siruthai Siva. Suriya will play a different character and have a different charisma in the historical action drama. According to rumors, Suriya 42 has already been purchased by an OTT platform, as was stated in Track Tollywood. And if rumours are to be accepted, Amazon Prime Video is the culprit.

For these reasons, the pan-Indian movie is currently making news even before it opens. The Kollywood star’s forthcoming movie, “Suriya 42,” has had the digital streaming rights purchased for a hefty sum. According to reports, the historical thriller was purchased for Rs 80 Crores, excluding the Hindi version. After Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo, which Netflix purchased, it will be the second-biggest Tamil film ever released on Amazon Prime and the biggest transaction ever for a Tamil film.

The creators of this historical drama are adamant that they will be able to compete with series like Baahubali and KGF. Devi Sri Prasad will write the soundtrack for Suriya 42, which will be produced by Gnanavel Raja for Studio Green. Suriya began filming for this movie after releasing a grand poster that generated a lot of buzz among the public.
