Acclaimed Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu’s recent outing, Maanaadu went on the become a huge hit at the box office. Starring Simbu in the lead role, noted director SJ Suryah played the antagonist role in the movie.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the reputed Telugu production house Suresh Productions has acquired the remake rights of the film. Reportedly, the production house is planning to remake Maanaadu in all Indian languages with noted actors in the respective industries.
Will Venkat Prabhu, who helmed the original version directs the other remake versions also? Needs to be seen.
