Suresh Babu’s strange decision continuing to disappoint everyone

Daggubati Suresh Babu is one of the biggest names in Tollywood. He runs the entirety of Suresh Productions and Ramanaidu Studios and produces several interesting – small and big – films, every year. He also owns several theatres in the Telugu states and is a highly influential person. Given such an impressive list of job roles, he’s in charge of, the fact that he has chosen to release all of the upcoming films of Suresh Productions on OTT platforms.

It has been officially announced that Narappa will be released directly on Amazon Prime. When the news that Narappa would be directly released on OTT platforms was announced, Venkatessh’s fans and general audiences were immensely upset with it, and everyone thought that Suresh Babu would reconsider his decision. However, this did not happen, and he’s going ahead with direct OTT releases.

Now, Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film, Virata Parvam, in which Sai Pallavi is the leading lady, is also gearing up for an OTT release. It is being said that Rana is holding meetings with Netflix, and trying to cut a deal for the direct streaming of Virata Parvam. What’s surprising everyone is why Suresh Babu, one of the biggest producers in Tollywood, isn’t waiting long enough for a theatrical release and is opting for OTT releases, and how this will affect other films.
