Anil Ravipudi is the new toast of town with his own brand of entertainment and by the day, he’s becoming a force to reckon with. Here’s a peek into his latest release Supreme.

Story: A cab driver (Balu) lives with his drunkard father and happens to fall for a lady police officer Sridevi (Raashi Khanna). Into his simple life enters a little boy Rajan (Mikhail Gandhi) who makes it all the more beautiful. But he has a secret with him. What is it?

Analysis: The director had given us a fresh dose of comedy with Pataas and he repeats that act in Supreme which has entertainment redefined. For anyone who wishes to see a no-brainer and can enjoy commercial cinema without begging for logic, Supreme is definitely a stop you should make.
Anil cleverly infuses elements of comedy into the story which make it worth the watch. The film maybe a regular fare in terms of the story but it is the approach and the innovative narrative that makes it work.

Performances: Child artiste Mikhail Gandhi is the true show stealer in this film and makes every emotion of his connect with you. If Mikhail is the Rama who is on a journey, Sai Dharam Tej does a fantastic job of being the Hanuman who aids him in completing the task. Raashi Khanna looks refreshing in her comic act of a police officer. Prabhas Srinu and Prudhvi have a very funny track and so do Posani and Srinivas Reddy. The moments the four of them are on screen is a laugh riot!

Verdict: This film is a pakka entertainer with some amazing elements to watch out for. We’d say it’s amazing. Zing. Zing.

Rating: 3/5
