Superstar Rajnikanth fans have been praying over the last two months that the Tamil Film Producers Council call off the strike and announce the release of the new movies soon. They don’t want to miss Rajnikanth‘s Kaala in the theatres on 27th April. The date is a huge bonus for Rajnikanth’s film and even the team of Kaala has been waiting for the strike to be called off, to decide on the release date.
With Government intervention, the TFPC has called off the strike and they won all their terms and pledged to see that they will be implemented too. Mercury, Karthik Subbaraj’s new movie got the first nod from TFPC for a wide release. Some of the producers are asking for Kaala to be released on 27th April and even exhibitors are asking for the same as they that movie can bring back the audience to the theatres on a massive scale.
The producers are still working on the schedule and two dates, either April 27th or 15th June are being offered to the team it seems. Kaala has completed the censor formalities and got U/A certificate too. So, will the movie release on 27th April or will it release on 15th June? We have to wait for one more day, for the schedule of TFPC allotting release dates to new Tamil releases to come out, as the discussions within the TFPC have been just initiated.
