Super Star Rajinikanth Honored with Padma Vibhushan

As expected earlier, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth will be honoured with Padma Vibhushan. Rajinkanth’s daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, confirmed the news with a tweet.  “Proud daughter !!!!! Appa is now Padma vibhushan shri Rajinikanth”, she tweeted. Superstar Rajinikanth will be awarded the second degree honour, Padma Vibhushan, for his services and excellence as a star and a social activist. Government will be officially announcing the list of Padma awardees on Republic Day, like every year.
