Sunny Deol discussed his upcoming film Gadar 2 and its box office prospects, conflicts, and other topics in a recent interview.

Along with Ameesha Patel, Sunny Deol, the action hero of Bollywood, will be making a triumphant return to the big screen with his forthcoming movie, Gadar 2. His ‘dhai-kilo’ ka acting abilities and punch lines are well-known throughout the country. Gadar 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Kahani, and while everyone is eagerly awaiting it, the actor discussed his thoughts on box office receipts.

The sequel Gadar 2 will debut on August 11, 2023. For those who are unaware, the movie’s Friday box office competition will be OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar. Sunny also expressed his thoughts on it.

In response to a question about the current state of the box office’s unpredictability and how it is affecting the film industry, Sunny Deol said in an interview, “I have never felt unnerved by box-office numbers as I believe that there is so much to do.” There are numerous ways to tell a story, but every Friday, we alter our perspective and declare, “Yeh nahin chal raha hai, toh aisa karo,” he said. But this is nothing new; it has been happening forever. We don’t have to, hum uspe baith ke thesis karne lagte hai. When we tell our tales to an audience, we must be confident in them.

Sunny Deol continued the debate by saying that the box office rivalry has never disturbed him. “Gadar made over 100 crore, whereas Lagaan made a lot less. I fail to comprehend the comparison process, whether it is from a business or likeability standpoint. People believed that Gadar was a masala movie, yeh purani type ki picture hai, purane type ke gaane hai, he added.

“On the other hand, people thought Lagaan was classic, etc.,” Sunny said in his allegations. Gadar had been entirely depleted by the so-called movie talkers. Later, it developed into a beloved film among the general public. We weren’t concerned by the Gadar spoof that I recall seeing at award events. It has occurred with a few of my other films as well, such as the overlapping Ghayal and Dil. Although there is no parallel, people like to make them.
