Sundeep Kishan has been finding it hard in Telugu Film Industry after a success like Venkatadri Express. His next releases like Joru, Beeruva, Run, Tiger, Ra Ra Krishnayya, Oka Ammayi Thappa have all registered flops at the box office. Even though he did find some appreciation for few films, the box office results have hurt his long term prospects as a lead actor.
With lack of good scripts coming his way, he chose to be a part of Tamil films like Maayavan and Maanagarm. Off the two, Maanagarm released as Nagaram last weekend and the film got some good reviews from Telugu and Tamil media. The actor in the press event of Nagaram, got emotional sharing his experience after reading such positive feedback.
He mentioned that even though he was aware of the box office status of his previous films, his intention to be a part of those subjects that he believes in was never absent. And when he saw the positive word about his performance and film from Tamil media, he literally was in tears for at least twenty minutes and recollecting it, he still feels the same. He thanked each and every media person for such feedback and requested audience to make their attempt a bigger hit at box office as well.
