Sumanth, the third generation actor from Akkineni Family, wanted to make sure that he will be among one of the box office star heroes from the beginning of his career. Even though he had everything going for him, his choices in films did not help him much and he ended up being an actor from a popular family, who is still looking for good hit. His fortunes have changed with Satyam and he scored hits like Gauri and Madhumasam but after that once again he fell for bad scripts.
Recently, he made a movie called Naruda Donaruda, the remake of Vicky Donor but the movie failed to impress the audience. He then went on a hiatus and did not announce any latest movie. All of a sudden, he announced his movie with a debutant director, Gautham Tinnamuri and the movie is a romantic drama, titled, Malli Rava. Akanksha Singh who appeared in Badrinath ki Dulhania is chosen to be the leading lady of the movie.
The producer of the movie, Rahu Yadav said, “ We have started the movie 40 days ago and completed it in 30 days straight schedule without any delays. The movie is highly important for our banner so we did our homework that is, pre-production work for more than 10 months and met actor, Sumanth with out bound script. Has he liked our efforts he gave us his dates and we are sure that we can deliver on our promise. In the month of August we will release the title logo and teaser of the movie.”
