Sumanth Yarlagadda, Akkineni family’s third generation hero, who entered into the Industry first aming the others, had it hard for him to continue on the standards set by his Grand Father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Uncle, Akkineni Nagarjuna. He tried his best but he couldn’t find that telling success to establish himself as a box office hero. After a long time, almost a decade, after the release of Godavari, he found positive vibe and feedback for his movie. His Malli Raava is attracting audience by being a feel good romantic saga as an ode to the legacy of his family heroes.
He did try to make a comeback from past few years but a movie like Naruda Donaruda just did not suit his style of acting. He established himself as a pure lover like Satyam, a bit convoluted about love but a pure romantic in Madhumasam and a complete gentleman in Godavari. He did try to diverge from just being a romantic hero but a good love story will always mark a place for romantic heroes. He managed to keep himself fit to carry a young to adult love story like Malli Raava and the film is delivering fruits for all his patience.
It is a well established truth that for any hero who has been awarded some vote of confidence by public, it is the case of finding a suitable script. Sumanth masterfully found a brilliant team once again to get his due recognition as an actor perfect for portraying romance on screen. Well, with this success, hope the actor would try to stick to finding more and more scripts that suit him and entertain us like only he can in future too.
