While the success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, was not much of a difficult task in Telugu, the same was not the case in other languages. Upon the release of the film though, while the film received a mixed response in the Telugu market, the film performed exceedingly well in the Tamil and Hindi markets, despite coronavirus, and even created non-Baahubali records in the Tamil market.
The collections in Telugu have also been good, despite the mixed talk, and all other factors considered, making the film a commercial success. According to the latest reports, director Sukumar is planning to start working on the second part of the series, Pushpa: The Rule, as soon as Sankranthi is over. He is reportedly planning to make a few changes to the script, change the title of the film, and get everything ready by the end of February so that he can begin shooting in March.
The makers of Pushpa had promised the audiences that the post-production works of the second part wouldn’t be as rushed as they were for the first part and that everything would be perfectly planned here on. As a result, the shooting portion of the film is being planned to be done by October, and the film is planned to be released in December.
