Sukumar bags huge profits with Uppena

Uppena has turned out to be a huge money-spinner for all the parties involved. Mythri Movie Makers has produced the film and in the majority of areas, they released it on their own. Keeping faith in the product, they didn’t sell the distribution rights. This has paid huge dividends for them.

The film which was made on a huge budget of Rs. 20 Crores (debut hero), has crossed the 45 Cr mark and is now running towards the 50 Cr club. By adding the satellite and digital rights, the profits the production house make is enormous.

However, Sukumar will take away almost Rs. 15 Crores profits. He supervised the project and made sure the hype is intact. He has foreseen all the proceedings. For this, he is taking almost 40 percent profits. This is a huge chunk of the amount that Sukumar is receiving.
