Director Sukumar has teamed up with Stylish Star Allu Arjun for the second time, after the Arya series, for Pushpa, which is being made on a massive budget, on a pan-Indian scale. The film already had a lot of expectations going for it at the time of its announcement, which only got bigger after the release of the teaser and the first song from the film.
Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays the lead antagonist in the film, which is being made in two parts. The climax of the first part involves a cliffhanger that includes Fahadh. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of this film, and it is now being said that another popular actress is about to join the team. It is being said that Pushpa will be high on sister sentiment, and that a popular Kollywood actress will be seen playing Bunny’s sister’s role in the film.
While the actress is yet to be finalised, it is already known that Anasuya Bharadwaj, popular anchor in Tollywood, will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. Anasuya was previously seen in Sukumar’s Rangasthalam as well, which turned out to be a massive success at the box office. It is now to be seen who will play Bunny’s sister, and it will be interesting to see more and more layers in Pushpa.
