Sukku – Ram Charan Sci – fi love story?!

Sukumar, the maverick director, is known for his experimental tinge with the stories and make huge budget bonanzas. Regardless of them being hit or flops, viewers and even actors have a different respect for him. He first burst out on to the scene with Arya and with his next film, Jagadam, even though it was a flop he became a hot favourite director of youth. He then made Arya 2, 100% Love, Nenokkadine and Nannaku Prematho. He produced Kumari 21F on his Sukumar Writings banner. After making movies with rising talent, he made two movies with established stars. Both the films have gained him respect. Now, he is in conversation with Ram Charan to make a movie.

He had been waiting for the Dhruva to be completed to give a final narration to Ram Charan Tej, before they plan for the shooting schedules. Mythri MovieMakers will be producing the movie and the regular shooting might start from January. As per the initial plan the movie is scheduled for a Dussehra release, the favourite season of Ram Charan. According to close sources, the movie was first pitched as a simple love story, but Charan encouraged Sukumar to not loose his mark and he wanted to make a movie with him as he was a fan his unique story telling. Sukku is now planning a 24 style sci-fi love story that starts in a different age and ends in the present day.

In the movie Ram Charan is said to be the eternal lover and he would like to realise his love with no bounds to time and in his quest, he will achieve it present day it seems. The movie is planned to be shot in Godavari districts in principle but as the crowd management will be a big problem, the movie team is looking for the set up that looks exactly like the villages, in and around Godavari. Even the river plays a character in the film it seems. So, an exciting new story from an exciting combo. Fans of the hero are eagerly awaiting the release of Dhruva, to see him back in blockbuster form and then deliver a performance oriented film with Sukku after, Orange.
