For Tamil cinema fans it feels like a dream come true. After nearly 46 years, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are finally coming together on screen again.
Reports say the two superstars will join hands for a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and fans are thrilled. This reunion is special because in the 1970s and 80s Rajini and Kamal acted together in many languages and their bond is still remembered.
At SIIMA 2025 in Dubai, Suhasini Maniratnam, Mani Ratnam’s wife shared an emotional story about their friendship calling them ‘like brothers’.
She recalled how Rajini always cared about Kamal during shoots.
By the way Kamal himself confirmed with a witty speech at SIIMA, saying fans love is enough reason for them to reunite, which drew huge applause.
