Sudheer Babu as Gopi Chand!

Mahesh Babu’s Brother-in-law and the hero of Bhale Manchi Roju and Prema Kadha Chitram, Sudheer Babu will be seen in a biopic soon. P.V Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Srikanth Kindambi ‘s coach and many badminton protégées inspiration Pullela Gopi Chand ‘s life will be dramatised and presented as a biopic on silver screen.

The movie will show the hardships that Gopi Chand faced to achieve the name and fame he enjoys today. He is the second Indian to win All England Championship after Prakash Padukone. Prakash Padukone became the inspiration for young Gopi Chand and he achieved the peak that no other could even dream.

Today, Gopi Chand made India proud by setting up an academy in Hyderabad. An academy that is producing great players of international quality and ability. In a lackluster Olympic show, All Indians were proud that India won a silver medal in Badminton because of his perseverance, guidance and never give up attitude that he induced in his protegees.

The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil languages and will be dubbed in Hindi. Sudheer Babu got a name for his role in Varsham Remake, Baaghi in Hindi for his prowess in Marshal arts. Now, it is time for him to flex his acting muscles too.
