The song shooting for ace director SS Rajamouli’s prestigious pan-India project, RRR is progressing at a fast pace in Ukraine. As per the inside reports, the film unit is expected to wrap up the last song shooting by this weekend and return to India. Starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, the makers have already announced that the film will have a theatrical release on October 13, 2021.
But the latest buzz circulating among trade and media circles is that RRR’s release will be postponed to Sankranthi 2022 as the film should have a positive atmosphere across the country for its release. News is also that as the Covid third wave is ringing danger bells already, the makers are also planning to postpone the release date. A clarity on RRR’s release date is expected to be out in the next couple of weeks.
If the above scenario turns into reality and RRR takes over Sankranthi 2022, then other big films such as Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, PK-Rana movie, which are gearing up for a release during the same season will be left with no option but to postpone the release of their respective films.
