Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is expected to resume the shooting for his upcoming film, Annaatthe soon after the Covid situation returns to normalcy. Being directed by Siva, the film has Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Jagapathi Babu among others in prominent roles. Sun Pictures banner is bankrolling the project and is slated to hit the screens during Diwali 2021.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz circulating among the Kollywood circles is that after Annaatthe, Rajini has high chances to join forces with young filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. An official confirmation regarding the project is expected to be out later this year. It is well-known that Rajinikanth and Karthik Subbaraj earlier worked together on an action drama titled, Petta.
