Suriya is at an important phase of his career with several projects lined up and more in discussion. He is very selective about his roles choosing different genres and experimenting with new characters.
Many are waiting for updates on his upcoming films especially his milestone 50th film which industry insiders say will be a special one.
According to few reports Suriya is in talks with director Mari Selvaraj for his 50th film. If the project happens it will be their first collaboration. This talk comes as Vaadivaasal which is his much-awaited film with Vetri Maaran, has been postponed.
Meanwhile Suriya remains busy with multiple projects, including Karuppu directed by RJ Balaji, a film with Venky Atluri and another with Jithu Madhavan.
Mari Selvaraj is also occupied with films featuring Dhanush and others. Even so the possible Suriya and Mari Selvaraj collaboration has become the most exciting talk in Tamil cinema right now.
