This move marks a significant shift as Yash would become the first Kannada actor to command such a high fee in India. Despite playing the antagonist, Yash’s demand underscores his growing market in the South.
In ‘Ramayan,’ Yash will appear alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Sri Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, with Ranbir reportedly charging less than Yash for the biggest film. The casting of Yash and Sai Pallavi is likely to increase the film’s range in national wide, especially in South Indian industry box office, where both actors are extremely popular.
