Star heroine reveals why she left her career’s biggest offer

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan has been one of the most talked-about films ever since the director locked the cast and crew for the magnum opus. The film stars Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi, Keerthy Suresh, Jayam Ravi, Mohan Babu, and many others. Initially, there were reports that Amala Paul opted out of the film for unknown reasons. Now, she has come forward and has said that the role offered to her was way too big and she thought she could not do justice to the role and that is the reason, she backed out.

To be produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, the film is going to be made in two parts. Ravi Varman and AR Rahman are onboard this prestigious project which has completed most of its shoot.
