It is well-established news that Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up to act in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit, Lucifer. Touted as a political drama, the film had its formal launch a couple of months back and Tamil director Mohan Raja will be helming the movie.
Already news came out that star heroine Nayanthara has been roped in for a key role in the film. As per the reports, she will be reprising the character done by Maju Warrier in the original version. Meanwhile, the latest grapevine is that Nayantara opted out due to her dates clash with some Tamil film.
If the news turns into reality eventually, with no option left, the team should start the hunt for an alternative actress to portray the role.
Already actor Satya Dev and Bigg Boss fame Divi Vadthya are roped in for prominent roles in the movie. Senior producer NV Prasad in association with Ram Charan’s Konidela Production company will be bankrolling the film which is expected to go on the floors from this month itself.
