SSR Teaser: Focuses on the rise of Shyam

The makers of Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film, Shyam Singha Roy have released the first look teaser of the film this morning. Set in the Kolkata backdrop, the promo establishes a journalist named Shyam Singha Roy’s character and his requirement in society as a ray of hope when there is uncertainty.

The one minute 46 seconds glimpse showcases Nani in a dual role as a revolutionary leader in the pre-independence era and as a guy from contemporary times. The teaser explores the emotional content related to women empowerment in a few shots. While Sai Pallavi is seen as Shyam Singha Roy’s love interest, Uppena beauty Krithi Shetty is showcased as Nani’s love interest in present times. In one word, Shyam Singha Roy’s is decent and showcases the need of a person like Shyam Singha Roy in society when the system fails.

Being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, SSR is produced by Niharika Entertainments banner. The movie is gearing up for a December 24th release in all South languages.
