After wrapping up a minor schedule in the first week of September, the shooting for Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram’s highly-anticipated film was kept on hold due to various reasons. While one of the reasons is the demise of Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi in the last week of September, the other rumor being circulated among media circles is that Mahesh has raised objections on specific elements in the story.
Reportedly, this is the main reason behind Mahesh Babu leaving for a vacation in October second week. After wrapping up the family vacation in Europe, Mahesh is back to India in the first week of November. Soon after landing in Hyderabad, director Trivikram met Mahesh Babu and they both had a discussion on the second schedule of the film.
On the other hand, the film’s female lead Pooja Hegde recently met with a leg fracture and is expected to recover fully by December first week and will be ready to join the film sets. Considering all the aspects, the team has decided to resume the shooting from December 2nd week.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that Trivikram made major changes to the script and convinced Mahesh Babu to resume the film’s shooting. Buzz is also that Trivikram is even planning to change Thaman and replace him with Anirudh. However, an official confirmation regarding the change of music director for SSMB28 is awaited.
