Arjun Reddy director or we must say, creator, Sandeep Reddy Vanga saw controversies raising up against his statements related to women and his general view of expression of love. While, he never asked people to disrespect women, his words became a problem for few as he did not try to sugar coat his feelings. We won’t get into the debate of if he is right or wrong. People will have their own opinions about his statements and we want to respect that. The director though has come up with #RealManChallenge and made a video of cleaning the house, himself on social media.
He challenged Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, to join the challenge straight away and the maker has accepted it too. He said he will come back with that video soon. Sandeep said that Real Men won’t let women do all the household chores and help them as much as possible, with their works. Hope that doesn’t last just for lockdown period and we hear less complaints from women about men, not understanding their plight in just being reduced to housemakers!
SS Rajamouli reply-tweeted to the challenge by saying,
“Challenge accepted, Sandeep!
It is important we share the work load at home and I will post my home workout tomorrow… #BetheREALMAN”
Sandeep challenged SSR by tweeting this, along with a video of doing household chores.
“Man can be a great domestic worker and a real man will never let his woman work all by herself specially during this No maid times & Quarantine.
