Director Srikanth Odela is reportedly working on an intense love story set against the backdrop of the 2014 Telangana agitation. According to industry sources, the film is still in the scripting stage, and the lead actor has not been finalised.
Known for intense rural dramas like Dasara and The Paradise, Srikanth’s move towards a love story has surprised many.
His portrayal of KCR in The Paradise also received attention, while Priyadarshi earned appreciation for his performance.
Meanwhile, Srikanth’s film with Chiranjeevi, to be produced by Nani, was announced earlier but has seen no further updates.
The new project has sparked speculation that the Chiranjeevi film could be delayed. However, there is no official confirmation.
