Srikanth Addala reveals the main reason behind directing Narappa

After disastrous Brahmotsavam, noted director Srikanth Addala made a comeback with Venkatesh’s Narappa. Touted as an intense family drama, the film is a remake of Tamil hit, Asuran and had its direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video today.

On this occasion, in an exclusive interview, Srikanth Addala opened up about the film and its response from the netizens. Speaking about directing the film, Srikanth revealed that he first approached Suresh Babu with a different script but was asked to direct the Telugu version of Asuran remake and that’s how he landing in the project. Srikanth also revealed that since this morning, he is overwhelmed by the response from the netizens and thanked the audience for their unconditional support.

Also starring Priyamani, Karthik Rathnam, Rajeev Kanakala among others in key roles, Narappa is the first big film that had a direct OTT release after the Covid second wave crisis.
