Sreeleela became emotional while speaking to the media at the Parasakthi press meet in Chennai. The film which released three days ago is her first Tamil movie. Talking about the audience response she said the film gave her a deep sense of satisfaction as an actor.
Leela shared that till now people mostly praised her for her songs and dance but Parasakthi gave her recognition as a proper actor for the first time.
She said many viewers told her they came out of the theatre with tears as the film touched them emotionally.
Though Parasakthi is not doing big numbers at the Tamil box office, Sreeleela said the love and appreciation for her performance mean more than collections.
Even if the film isn’t a major hit it has proved her acting talent. She will soon make her Bollywood debut which is set to release shortly.
