In recent times, the landscape of Tollywood has witnessed the rise of two new promising heroines, Sree Leela and Mrunal Thakur, who are vying for the top positions alongside popular heroes. While Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna have enjoyed a successful stint in the industry, their opportunities seem to have slightly diminished.
Pooja Hegde, known for her stellar performances alongside star heroes like NTR, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun, recently missed out on working with Mahesh Babu and Vijay Devarakonda. Similarly, Rashmika Mandanna walked out of a project with Nitin.
On the other hand, Sree Leela has quickly garnered immense popularity among Tollywood heroes, attracting both young and established actors who are eager to work with her. Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur, who achieved blockbuster success with “Sitaram,” is gradually making her mark in Tollywood.
Though not as quickly as Sree Leela, Mrunal has already showcased her talent opposite Vijay Devarakonda in “Hi Nanna.” Rumours have been circulating about Mrunal Thakur possibly starring alongside Ram Charan in Buchi Babu’s upcoming film, further solidifying her position in the industry. As the competition for the top spots intensifies, both Mrunal Thakur and Sree Leela are aiming to become the leading glamour queens of Tollywood.
