Seetimaarr starring Gopichand and Tamannaah in the lead roles was supposed to hit the screens in April but is postponed due to Covid lockdown. Being directed by Sampath Nandi, already the audio album of the film is out and has been getting a decent response from music lovers.
Earlier, news also came out that the makers are planning to release the film on the OTT space and are in discussions with leading streaming channels for the same. Now, the latest news is after witnessing the response for SR Kalyanamandapam across the twin Telugu states, Seetimaarr team is tilting towards the theatrical release of the film soon. Inside reports suggest that the film is likely to hit the screens in September as Vinayaka Chavithi special. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Said to be an intense sports drama set in Kabadi backdrop, Srinivas Chhitturi bankrolled the movie. Mani Sharma is the music composer.
