SP Balasubrahmanyam’s social media posts that has gone viral recently forces everyone to pay attention to the impending water crisis as temperatures continue to soar above 40 degree celsius. He has urged his followers “not to forget that in a lot of parts of the country, people are struggling for a even a spoonful of water.”
He also added, “Since (a) couple of days, I (have been) in Hyderabad, attending lots of family functions. In every occasion all the guests were served bottles of mineral water. It was (painful) to see that most of the guests had a swig and left the bottle on the table or below their seats and left. The bottles were taken away by the clean ing department, and remaining water in the bottles was dumped into sinks. What a waste!“
