Sowcar Janaki Passes Away At 94 In Chennai

Sowcar Janaki has passed away at the age of 94. She breathed her last at 1:59 PM on Friday in Chennai after suffering from age related health issues. Nadigar Sangam president Nassar confirmed the news of her demise.

Janaki was undergoing treatment at Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet which is in Chennai. She had been admitted after falling ill and was receiving intensive medical care without fail.

Nassar later issued an official statement calling her a legendary actress. Her mortal remains will be kept at Centoph Road in Teynampet from 5 PM, allowing fans and the public to pay their final respects.

Sowcar Janaki had a remarkable career spanning several decades. She acted in Telugu, Tamil and other South Indian films leaving behind a rich legacy and a special place in the hearts of generations of movie lovers for sure.
