Sonu Sood’s Srimantha to Clash with 3 Kannada Movies!

The new film ‘Srimantha’ starring Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is now playing in theatres, but it will face competition from three Kannada films.

In addition to three other Kannada films, Sonu Sood’s ‘Srimantha’ debuted on Friday in Karnataka. The other films include “Dare Devil Mustafa,” “Suman,” and the hockey-themed drama “Jersey Number 10.”

Due to the model code of conduct, “Srimantha” was supposed to be launched in the previous month but was postponed. Veteran Karnataka politicians, including former PM H.D. Deve Gowda, former CM B.S. Yediyurappa, senior leaders Basavaraj Horatti and Eshwar Khandre, have appeared as guests in the film, which is based on the lives of farmers.

The movie’s director is Ramesh Hassan. Sonu Sood is joined by Kranthi and Kalyani in the major roles.

Based on a narrative by the renowned and outstanding Kannada novelist K.P. Poornachandra Tejaswi, “Dare Devil Musthafa” is a comedy play. The film’s director is Shashank Sogal.

A hockey player’s passionate love story is told in “Jersey Number 10.” The major part is being played by state-level hockey player Adya Thimmaiah, who is also one of the producers. Adya Thimmaiah and Rashin Subbaiah are co-producing the film.

Dharma Keerthiraj, Rajani Bharadwaj, Zayleen Ganapathy, and Nimika Ratnakar play the lead parts in the Ravi Sagar-directed film “Suman.”

Recently, Sonu Sood showed up for a lengthy interview with a reputable news source. During lockdown, the actor, who has worked in the entertainment business for four decades, became the topic of conversation when he adopted the role of a messiah for migrant workers. When the actor gained praise for lending a helping hand to those who were attempting to return home amid the fictional Coronavirus outbreak, his name was all over the internet.

Sonu Sood said, “Mujhe lagta hai ki log zyada sensitive ho gaye hain ya ban rahe hain toh voh ek chakkar hai. Jo boycott karte hain films ko… I don’t know ki kitna wise hai ya kitna genuine hai ya aap kitna usko mean karte hain. Bina dekhe film ko agar aap bolte hain ki isko boycott kiya jaye, this is also not fair.” He went on to say that a filmmaker thinks they have made a film like Sholay but one can only decide after the film gets released.
