Sonu Sood In Trouble As Ludhiana Court Issues Arrest Warrant

Actor Sonu Sood, who has worked in several Telugu and Tamil films, has been served with a legal notice after his name surfaced during an investigation into a Rs 10 lakh fraud case.

Recently, an arrest warrant was issued by the Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur after the 51-year-old failed to appear in court despite repeated summons to testify.

As per reports, the case filed by a Ludhiana-based lawyer, Rajesh Khanna, was primarily against Mohit Shukla, who claimed that the actor had lured him to invest in a fake Rajika coin.

Meanwhile, news agency ANI reported that Sonu’s involvement in the scam is yet to be established, and he was called to testify in court but failed to show up. Consequently, the court had to issue a warrant against the actor for not adhering to the court’s summons.

The arrest warrant reads, “Sonu Sood, has been duly served with summon(s) or warrant(s) but he/she has failed to attend (absconds and keeps out of the way for the purpose of avoiding service of a summon(s) or warrant(s)). You are hereby ordered to arrest and bring the said Sonu Sood before the Court.”

Sonu Sood and his team are yet to issue a statement on the matter.

Workwise, Sood was recently seen in the actioner Fateh, which marked his directorial debut.
