With IndiGo facing major flight delays and cancellations Sonu Sood requested passengers to stay calm and treat ground staff with kindness. He said the staff are helpless in such situations and cannot control flight operations.
IndiGo has cancelled hundreds of flights and videos of chaos at airports have gone viral. Responding to angry passengers confronting staff, Sonu shared a video message online.
He mentioned that his own family had to wait nearly five hours for their flight and many others missed weddings, meetings and important events because their flights never took off.
What hurt him most was seeing people shout at ground staff, who have no real information or authority. They only pass on the updates they receive from higher officials.
Sonu called the fights and arguments unfortunate and reminded everyone that these workers always try to serve passengers with a smile. He urged people to stay patient.
