Sonu Sood has dismissed reports of an arrest warrant against him calling them exaggerated and misleading. He clarified that he was summoned as a witness in a case unrelated to him and has no connection with the matter.
In his statement, Sonu said, “The news is being sensationalized. Our lawyers have responded, and on February 10th, 2025, we will clarify our non-involvement”.
“We are not associated with the case in any way. This is just unnecessary media attention”. He also expressed disappointment that celebrities are often targeted unfairly and vowed to take legal action.
The controversy arose after a Ludhiana court reportedly issued a warrant against him for missing a testimony. Meanwhile, Sonu was last seen in Fateh, his directorial debut.
