Sonu Nigam and Bhushan Kumar Join Hands after Nepotism Debate!

It appears that Sonu Nigam and Bhushan Kumar have reconciled years after their bitter fallout over purported mafia charges.

One of the many wonderful blessings to the Hindi music business is Sonu Nigam. Over the years, he has amused us with songs like Main Agar Kahoon, Bole Chudiyan, and Tumse Milke Dil Ka, among others. Although they had previously worked together, things soured after he allegedly accused Bhushan Kumar of nepotism.

Sonu talked about the “music mafia” in 2020 for the uninitiated. Although he avoided using names, many people assumed he was referring to Bhushan Kumar when he made comments about “nepotism”. As he discussed the producers’ relationship with Abu Salem and Marina Kuwar’s charges of sexual assault, he also made things clear. Then, in response to his assertions, Divya Khosla Kumar emphasised his gangster links and the fact that her father-in-law Gulshan Kumar had supported him throughout his entire career.

It looks like they have joined hands. A source revealed, “Aamir Khan wanted only Sonu to sing a song (Main Ki Karaan) for Laal Singh Chaddha, the music for which was owned by T-Series. Bhushan extended an olive branch, and they mutually decided to meet and talk things out. At the end of it, they decided to let bygones be bygones. That also led to Sonu agreeing to collaborate on Shehzada, a film co-produced by Kumar and music composed by Pritam. He sang the title track. And things are all fine now. In fact, Adipurush, Bhushan’s most ambitious film, had a song sung by him too. Sonu also happily consented to be in the Jai Shri Ram cover along with other singers.”
The development also reached out to Sonu Nigam for comments, who reacted, “Let’s not make a big deal out of it. Peace and love is what should prevail eventually.”
