In 2019, Amazon Prime Video hosted the world debut of the well-known online series Made In Heaven, starring Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Kalki Koechlin, and Shivani Raghuvanshi. Since the first season of Made In Heaven aired four years ago, fans have been anxiously awaiting any news regarding the second season. Made In Heaven Season 2 has been formally announced, much to the joy of fans of the programme that Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti produced. Fans were ecstatic when Zoya Akhtar unveiled the first look poster for Made in Heaven Season 2.
Zoya Akhtar officially announced Made in Heaven Season 2 on her Instagram account on Thursday morning. A bunch of faded roses was laid on the ground in the poster. “New Season” was touted as being imminent. The Made in Heaven season 2 poster makes no mention of the launch date but does include a hint from Zoya Akhtar about more turmoil and drama. “The weddings, the drama, and the chaos are about to get 2X grander,” she said in the post. She tweeted, “#MadeInHeavenS2OnPrime coming soon!,” adding the hashtags for the web series’ cast and crew.
Needless to say, fans were incredibly happy about the announcement, and commenting to the picture, one Instagram user said, “Finallllllyyyyyyyyyy one of teh finest Indian series so far!! Can’t wait,” said another. “YAY, so happy this is back!” Waited too long for this, stated the third comment. The poster was also posted by Kalki Koechlin on Instagram, along with the caption, “Here’s to another season of planning flawless weddings and erroneous plans…#MadeInHeavenS2onPrime.”
The plot of Made in Heaven focused on the lives of two wedding planners named Tara and Karan as they planned opulent Indian weddings for very affluent clients.
