Small Budgets, Big Relief For Anil Sunkara

Anil Sunkara has seen both success and failure. As a partner in 14 Reels he was part of few hit films. At the same time he also made small films under his own banner AK Entertainments.

After leaving 14 Reels, Anil focused fully on AK Entertainments and moved towards big-budget projects. However films like Mahasamudram, Agent and Bhola Shankar failed at the box office causing heavy losses and pressure.

Despite these setbacks, Anil did not quit. He shifted back to small and medium-budget films. Samajavaragamana became profitable and Majaka recovered its costs.

Now, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, made on a limited budget, has given him a strong comeback. Released quietly during Sankranti and the film gained positive word of mouth and rising collections, helping restore Anil Sunkara’s confidence as a producer.
