Vijay Sethupathi and director Puri Jagannadh have joined hands for Slumdog 33 Temple Road. The film’s teaser was launched in Chennai where both shared their thoughts about the project.
Vijay praised Puri Jagannadh, calling him a legend and saying he had a wonderful experience working with him. He revealed that Puri constantly writes very new ideas even during shoot breaks and said every story he comes up with is interesting.
Vijay expressed very huge confidence that the film will become a big Pan-India success because of its powerful story and intense emotions.
Puri thanked Vijay for accepting the film and making his Tamil debut possible without fail.
He said this movie is inspired by two real life incidents and highlights the lives of homeless and helpless people. Tabu, Dunia Vijay and Samyuktha play key roles.
