Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s much anticipated mass action entertainer, “Skanda,” was initially slated for release on September 15th but has now been postponed by two weeks. The decision to move the release date was influenced by the delay in Prabhas’s Pan Indian film, “Salaar,” which was initially set for September 28.
Starring the sensational actress Sree Leela as the female lead, “Skanda” has garnered significant attention and anticipation, despite keeping its storyline under wraps. The film recently completed its censor formalities and received a U/A certificate from the censor board.
With a runtime of 167 minutes (2 hours and 47 minutes), some fans have expressed concerns about its length, but if the promised mass action elements deliver, the runtime is unlikely to be an issue. Saiee Manjrekar will also feature in a prominent role in the film.
Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen and featuring music composed by Thaman, “Skanda” is set to be a multi-language release, including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. Fans eagerly await its arrival in theaters for a power-packed cinematic experience.
