The Tamil film Kushi is set to be re-released in cinemas after 25 years bringing excitement to fans. A press conference was held in Chennai which was attended by director SJ Suryah and others to mark the special occasion.
After the success of re-releases like Vijay’s Ghilli the return of Kushi has generated great interest among movie lovers.
At the event, SJ Suryah shared his joy in seeing Vijay on screen again. He spoke about how producer A. M. Rathnam invited him to tell the film’s story to Vijay and how impressed he was with the scenes.
He also mentioned that while narrating the story to others, he visualized the film fully in his mind.
Speaking about the song Kattipudi Da, he said it was chosen as a reference for Deva’s melody. SJ Suryah also recalled Vijay’s calm response to the story, agreeing to stick to the original version.
With careful preparations, the re-release of Kushi promises nostalgia and fresh excitement for fans.
