Actor Sivakarthikeyan announced his new film Seyon produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. A powerful teaser was released on his birthday, creating huge excitement.
The film reunites Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan after the success of Amaran which earned over Rs 300 crore. It is directed by Siva Murugesan with music by Santhosh Narayanan.
However, the film is now facing a title problem. According to the reports Double Meaning Productions has complained to the Producers Council saying they already planned to use the title Seyon for the sequel to Maayon. The issue is yet to be resolved.
The first look poster shows Sivakarthikeyan in a village setting which is hinting at a rural story. While the makers say the film is based on Lord Murugan, the title dispute has now become the main talking point.
