During the “Vanangaan” event, Sivakarthikeyan shared his concerns about the release of his film “Amaran” and its timing. He said, “There’s a belief that films with sad endings released during Diwali often fail”.
“I had to reconsider a lot because of this. But I was inspired by Bala sir’s “Pithamagan”, a Diwali release with a sad ending that became a blockbuster”.
He also expressed excitement for the upcoming Pongal releases, adding, “This Pongal, films by Ajith Kumar sir and Arun Vijay are releasing on the same day. Both titles start with ‘V’, which stands for ‘Victory’. I wish them both massive success to start the year on a high note”.
Sivakarthikeyan praised Arun Vijay, saying, “Your dedication and hard work are true success stories. I believe Vanangaan will be a milestone in your career, Anna”.
Directed by Bala and co-produced under B Studios with V House Productions, Vanangaan stars Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash, with Sam C.S. handling the background score.
Sivakarthikeyan’s heartfelt wishes have further heightened the anticipation for Vanangaan this Pongal season.
