Madharaasi is considered a major milestone in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. While the film received mixed reviews it has remained popular among fans.
The movie reportedly crossed Rs. 100 crore worldwide making the producers satisfied. Many feel the film deserved even better recognition but its success has made both Sivakarthikeyan and director A.R. Murugadoss happy.
Following Madharaasi, there are reports that Sivakarthikeyan and Murugadoss may work together again.
The actor’s performance in the film was strong and challenging and he has said that acting in a Murugadoss directed film was a dream come true.
If the reunion happens it will be another dream project for him. Murugadoss has previously collaborated with stars like Suriya and Vijay.
